WBH Weekly Blind News Digest – Edition 18

Introduction

Welcome to Edition 18 of Gonz Blinko's Blind News Digest. This edition has 79 stories about blind people and blindness from all over the world. This is our largest digest to date and we're certain you will find articles that you think are interesting, informative and, in some cases, funny.

Editorial By Chris Hofstader

This is our largest edition of the digest to date and our friend Leon Gilbert helped by sending us a number of stories to include. There are so many articles in this edition that I am having trouble coming up with anything resembling a common theme.

Some of the stories are heart warming while others are tragic. Some show blind people achieving great success in sports and other pursuits while other stories talk about avoidable ways blind people have been hurt.

There's a lot here and I hope you find a lot of it interesting.
